James L. Schoch, Jr., 70, of Ewing Township, NJ died Thursday November 10, 2016 at Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, son of the late James L. and Georgianna Hamlin Schoch, he resided in Ewing Township for the past 33 years. James was retired after 33 years as an mechanic with Wonder Bread-Hostess Cake in Hamilton, NJ. He was graduated from Trenton High School and served with the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. James truly loved life, spending time with his family and friends, and vacationing in Florida with his grandchildren. He is survived by his loving wife, Natalie Mattozzi Schoch of 48 years. His daughter and son-in-law, Tiffany and Darren Begg of New Hope, PA; his son and daughter-in-law, James A. and Nancy Schoch of Bath, PA; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Elizabeth and Gerry Pearson of Florence, NJ, and Doris and Angelo Mattozzi of Trenton, NJ; and two grandchildren, Lauren and Sean Begg, as well as many nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind his faithful, loving dog, Macy. Committal services and Military Honors will be at 9:30am Tuesday at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA. Friends may call from 6pm to 8pm Monday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. Friends may gather with the family at the Funeral Home at 8:30am Tuesday to join the procession to the Cemetery. The Schoch and Begg Family wish to extend sincerest thanks to Mercer-Bucks Cardiology and The Temple University Hospital Doctors and Staff for his wonderful care. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
