Joanne Cox, age 57, passed away peacefully in her home on April 14th, 2026.

Joanne, born August 15, 1968, in Flushing Queens, Ny, and was special from the moment she was born. She was the only child of Gerri and Jack Niedermeyer and she was her parent's pride and joy. She met her husband Waymen very young, knowing he would always be the one she married.

She attended Temple Ambler, earning an Associate’s degree, later marrying and having kids. She worked in the insurance field for many years before retiring from work, becoming a full time mom and grandma. Anyone who knew her, knew she loved the Dallas Cowboys, LL Cool J, shopping, music, dancing, and anything that had to do with spending time with her family. Joanne was always the life of the party, keeping smiles on everyone she encountered. She would even talk to any stranger she came across because that’s who she was, loving, caring, and kind. 

She is survived by her children, Amber and her partner Aj, Jackie and her husband Nick, Kyle, and Natalia. She also leaves behind her 6 beautiful grandchildren, Nevaeh, Mason, Dez, Brayden, Liam, and Eva, partner Jameil, daughter in law Madi, sister in law Nicki and her husband Kevin, brother in laws Tommy, Harvey and his partner John, father in law Walt, her nieces and nephews, as well as countless friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Waymen, father John, mother Geraldine, mother in law Gail, her best friend Khristine, and her grandson Rahmeire. 

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 5pm-7pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Ave, Yardley, PA 19067.
