Barbara Quinn Marciante passed away in the early morning of May 9, 2026, having just celebrated her 95th birthday ten days earlier.

Barbara was born and raised in Trenton, NJ and attended Trenton High School.  While attending high school, she met her future husband, Charles Marciante.  Barbara and Charles married in 1952 and raised four children and lived in West Trenton, NJ for the last 63 years.

Known to all that knew her as “Biddie”, she had a passion for the culinary arts and travel.  When she was not working as a travel agent for different companies, she would always cook wonderful everyday meals and outstanding holiday meals.  Biddie was very adept at sewing clothes and knitting blankets and pillows. 

Barbara is survived by her four children, Michael Marciante, Catherine Doolan, Stephen Marciante and his wife Linda, and Mary and her husband John Rose.  She is also survived by her three grandchildren, P. Matthew Doolan, Michael Thomas Marciante, Alison Marciante, and her loving dog, Maggie.

Barbara was predeceased by her beloved husband Charles “Cholly” Marciante, her parents Charles and Catherine Quinn, her sister Rosemary Thompson, her brother Charles “Chuckie” Quinn, her grandson Michael Doolan, her daughter-in-law Coleen, and her dog, Sammy.

The memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at 1:00pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067.  Visitation for family and friends will be from 11:00am to 1:00pm at the funeral home.  Interment will be held privately for the family.
