Shaun Alan Dooley, 56, of Leonardo, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 9th, 2026, in Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Shaun was born in Miami, Florida to Charles Cameron Dooley III and Laura Berens Moreland on October 24th, 1969. He grew up as the son of an air force pilot and spent time in several places prior to settling in New Jersey, where he raised his family. Shaun was a U.S. Air Force veteran, who served in Desert Storm. He later went on to pursue a career in technology administration, to which he dedicated himself for over 30 years.

He was a loving father to his three children and a pillar of strength who embodied leadership, dedication, and faith to all who knew him.

Shaun is survived by his three children: Savannah, Arden, and Austin Dooley, their mother Tara Dooley, his mother Laura Moreland, his brother Adam Dooley, his father Cam Dooley, his stepmother Suzanna Dooley, their daughter Cama Cord, his stepfather Earle Moreland, and his stepsiblings Sean Moreland and Shea Kaurin. He is also a beloved cousin, uncle, nephew, and friend to many.

Funeral services are being held privately for the family. Interment with military honors will be held at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
