Dawn Barger, age 45, of Hopewell, New Jersey, passed away on June 13th, 2026.

She was born on February 25th, 1981, in Trenton, New Jersey, to Estelle and James Barger. Raised in Ewing and Hopewell, New Jersey, she graduated from Hopewell Valley Central High School in 1999. She went on to earn her cosmetology license and later pivoted careers and earned a medical associate degree to work as a medical assistant. She lived a life filled with laughter and love, always looking forward to spending time with family and friends. She could be seen watching the Philadelphia Eagles and Flyers play, making arts and crafts for loved ones, and shopping to grow her collection of shoes and purses.

Dawn is survived by her parents Estelle and James Barger; daughter Amanda Barger and partner Will Rarich; twin sister Patricia and husband Eric "Hoagie" Smith; brother Jim Barger and his children Lilly and Jake Barger; and many extended family members and friends.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at 11:00am at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church located at 54 E Prospect St, Hopewell, NJ 08525. Viewing will be held from 9:30am-11:00am at the church. Interment will be held at the Princeton Memorial Park Cemetery 403 Gordon Road Robbinsville, New Jersey 08691. The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
