It is with profound sadness that our family shares the passing of our beloved father, Joseph A. Sivo, on July 17, 2026.

Joseph was born on September 27, 1927, to Antonio and Carmella Sivo. He lived a remarkable life defined by love of family, service to his country, dedication to his work, and an unwavering commitment to the values he held dear.

If you knew our father, you knew there were three things that meant more to him than anything else.

First was marrying the love of his life, our mother, Mary T. (Morgan) Sivo. They shared more than 50 years of marriage and together built a loving family. He was a devoted husband, a proud father to his daughters and son, and the foundation of our family. The love, guidance, and values he instilled in us will remain with us forever.

Second was his service to our country. Joseph proudly served in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. He carried honor, pride, and discipline throughout his entire life and was deeply proud to have worn the uniform.

Third was his remarkable career at Princeton University, where he dedicated more than 50 years of service. His strong work ethic, loyalty, and unwavering commitment earned him the respect and friendship of countless colleagues throughout the decades.

Joseph is survived by his three children, Patricia Young and her husband James, Maria Skiba and her husband David Spender, and Anthony Sivo and his wife Christina; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

While our hearts are broken, we are incredibly grateful for the life he lived, the example he set, and the love he gave so freely. We take comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on through his family, his service to our country, and the many lives he touched.

The funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, July 22, 2026, at 10:30am at St. John the Evangelist Church 752 Big Oak Road Morrisville, PA 19067. Interment will be in our Lady of Grace Cemetery 1215 Super Highway Langhorne, PA 19047. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30am to 10:30am at the church.
