Daniel G. Starkey, 69, of Bristol, PA, passed away on July 16, 2026.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he has been a lifelong area resident. A graduate of Hamilton High West, Class of 1976, Dan was a longtime contractor, painter, and handyman. He was most recently employed by Simon & Schuster in Bristol. Dan was an avid bowler and fisherman who loved the outdoors. He was also a lifelong Philadelphia sports fan, especially the Eagles.

Dan was the son of the late George Starkey and Joan (Bova) Starkey Marchesani.

He is survived by his children, Daniel Starkey, Sean Starkey, and Kayla Starkey, all of Columbus, NJ, his sister Patricia Zegarski of Hamilton, NJ, his brother Nicholas Marchesani and his wife Lorin of Oxford, PA, his cousin Ramona Mellor of St. Augustine, FL, nephews Ryan Zegarski (Tiffany) and Patrick Zegarski, niece Nina McGonigle (Josh), great nephew Nicholas Zegarski, great niece Emilia Zegarski, his former wife Karen, and his longtime friend Brian Falsetti.

The funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 23, 2026, at 12:00pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the funeral home.
