Frances N. Donovan of Lower Makefield Township, PA died Friday March 3, 2017 at Capital Health Medical Center-Hopewell, NJ. She was 90.
Born in Wilpen, PA, daughter of the late Frank and Adelina DeDonatis Virgili, she had resided in Lower Makefield for the past 40 years.
Frances was a secretary with Colgate-Palmolive Company in their Philadelphia office. She later became a Register Nurse graduating from Bucks County Community College. She was a member of St. Ignatius Parish in Yardley.
She is survived by her husband, James B. Donovan; two sons, James B. Donovan, Jr. and Joseph G. Donovan; a daughter, Marian E. Donovan Carlin, and nine grandchildren.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Thursday at St. Ignatius Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, PA. Burial will follow at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Friends may call from 8:30am to 9:30am Thursday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley.
