Theresa Mahony, 75, of Lower Makefield Township, PA died peacefully on Monday January 3, 2022, at The Birches of Newtown in Newtown, PA.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of the late Michael Strofolino and Helen Labuda.

Theresa grew up in Brooklyn, NY and was a graduate of Bay Ridge High School. She enjoyed many summers visiting her extended family in Johnstown, PA. She and her late husband, Maurice William Mahony, married in 1967. They settled in the New Jersey suburb of Rutherford and started their family. In 1988, they moved to Newtown, PA where Theresa remained active in raising her family. She was a regular walker, and always cherished her dogs. In recent years, Theresa enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and participating in the activities of the Ladies Auxiliary of VFW Post 6393,Yardley. She was a warm and welcoming person who will be missed by her family and good friends.

Wife of the late Maurice William Mahony, she is survived by three sons, one daughter, three daughters-in-law, and one son-in-law. Daniel Mahony and Lisa Van Strat of Lower Makefield, Andrew and Jennifer Mahony of Lower Makefield, and Christopher and Anna Mahony of Hoboken, NJ, Jeanine and Mark Richer of Lower Makefield, and eleven grandchildren; Olivia, Jackson, Jordan, Riley, Ellery, Emily, Ryan, Dylan, James, Lucy, and Maria.

Funeral services with burial at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be private.
