Sharon S. Slatoff
Sharon Lee Still Slatoff of Washington Crossing, PA died on Saturday December 9, 2023 at Chandler Hall in Newtown, PA. She was 78.
Born in Trenton, NJ, daughter of the late Challis Lee Still and Mary Jane Hall Still, she was a longtime resident of Lower Makefield Township before moving to Washington Crossing six years ago.
Sharon was a graduate of Pennsbury High School, Class of 1963, and the Episcopal Hospital School of Nursing in Philadelphia in 1966. She had a successful nursing career for over thirty-five years in the field of urology. Besides raising her wonderful family, Sharon was an active member of the Morrisville Presbyterian Church serving as an Elder, President of its Women's Society and a Sunday School teacher. She was also a member of the Children's Home Society of New Jersey. Sharon was a volunteer for many years with the Aark Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education Center in Bucks County. She was an accomplished athlete throughout her life, participating in Scuba Diving, Skiing and Bowling. Sharon was at her best in tennis, competing in USTA League competitions.
Wife of the late Robert William Slatoff and mother of the late Jefferson Dean Slatoff, she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Karl and Yvette Slatoff of New Canaan, CT; her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Sean Wagner of Lower Makefield Twp., PA, and six grandchildren, Emma Jane Sawyer of Chestnut Hill, PA, John Patrick Wagner of Madison, WI, Vaughn Robert Slatoff and Evelyn Nicole Slatoff, both of New Canaan, CT, Nicholas Dean Slatoff of Hebron, OH and Tyler Christian Slatoff of Allentown, PA.
Friends are invited to call at 10:30am on Thursday December 21, 2023 at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA, funeral services will begin at 11am.
