Roger J. Kehoe Obituary

Roger J. Kehoe, 87, of Yardley, PA, passed away on February 2, 2025.


Born in Trenton, NJ, Roger has been a lifelong area resident. He was a graduate of Trenton Catholic High School, and he attended Rider University. He retired from U.S. Steel as a safety engineer. He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran having served from 1956-1959. Roger was a parishioner of St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church in Yardley for over 65 years. He was a member of the U.S. Steel Chorus and the Choir at St. Ignatius Church.


An avid bicycle rider, Roger would ride along the Yardley Canal on a daily basis. He enjoyed camping and going to Myrtle Beach, SC, with his late wife, Evelyn. More than anything, he was a devoted family man.


Roger was the son of the late Patrick and Anna (McTamney) Kehoe, husband of the late Evelyn (Foster) Kehoe, grandfather of the late Stephanie Lutkins and Taylor Lutkins, and brother of the late Edward Kehoe.


He is survived by his loving daughters Maureen Lutkins and her husband Marshall of Newtown, PA, Kathleen Moffett and her husband Ed of Bernville, PA, his grandchildren Edward Moffett III (Jade), Kaitlyn Sheehan (Ryan), Matt Moffett, Meghan Helber (Nick), and Daniel Lutkins, his great-granddaughter Sophia Lutkins, his sister-in-law Doris Foster, and many nieces and nephews.


The funeral mass will be celebrated on Monday, February 10, 2025, at 11:00am at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church 999 Reading Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church. Arrangements are under the care of the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067.
