It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathleen Jones Mayberry, 84, who passed on January 10, 2025.

Kathleen was the daughter of the late Henry R. and Kathleen B. (Baker) Jones.

She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Richard E. Mayberry of Newtown, PA.

Kathleen was born in Pulaski, VA, and moved to Wilmington, DE, where she graduated from Brandywine High School and then attended the University of Delaware. She met and married Richard Mayberry, also of Wilmington, and spent her career in dental medicine in Philadelphia, Springfield, PA, and Yardley, PA.

She leaves behind Richard, a niece Caroline Jones-Schmidt of Fairfield, PA, a nephew Todd Jones of Newman, GA, Richard's sisters Patricia Stafford and Judy McKay, and Richard's niece and nephew Robin Baker and Richard Stafford.

Kathleen was the light of her family life and will be deeply missed.

The Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at 11:00am at Pennswood Village 1382 Newtown Langhorne Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Memorial contributions can be made in Kathleen's honor to Cancer Research or the Fox Chase Cancer Center.
