Charlotte D. Leary Obituary

Charlotte D. Leary, 89, of Richboro, PA, passed away peacefully at her home on February 13, 2025.


Born in Lansdale, PA, she has been a resident of Richboro for many years. She was a graduate of Lansdale High School and was on the cheerleading squad and field hockey team. Charlotte was employed as a secretary in the engineering department at Teleflex until she got married. In her younger years she enjoyed bowling and playing the piano. She was a member of the Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia and the Christian Women’s Club of Bucks County where she also served as a board member.


Charlotte’s family was everything to her. She found great joy in being able to host her entire family in her home for Thanksgiving for 40 years.


Charlotte was the daughter of the late Howard and Abigail (Lewis) Brey and wife of the late Michael Leary. She is also pre-deceased by her sister Marjorie.


Charlotte is survived by her loving children Andrew Leary of Richboro, PA, and Allyson Barone and her husband Robert of Southampton, PA, and her three grandsons Bobby Barone, Zachary Barone, and Connor Barone.


The funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24, 2025, at 11:30am, at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. Interment will follow at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Road Newtown, PA 18940. Visitation for family and friends will be from 9:30am to 11:30am at the funeral home.


In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Calvary Chapel of Philadelphia 13500 Philmont Avenue Philadelphia, PA 19116.
