Obituary of Jean M. Woolman

Jean Woolman (née Rehak) Jean Woolman, of Keyser, WV, a devoted mother, grandmother, and spouse, passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 75. She will be deeply missed by her loving family and many friends. Born and raised in Levittown, PA, Jean grew up in a loving family with her parents, Robert and Irene Rehak and sisters Roberta and Carol. She attended St. Joseph the Worker Elementary School, Bishop Conwell High School and Burlington County Community College. In the 1980s, she and her family moved to Lower Makefield Township, where she spent many happy years. Jean was married to her beloved husband, Thomas, for 47 years, until his passing in 2016. Together, they raised two sons, Thomas and Steven, and cherished their daughters-in-law, Brittnay and Jennifer. She adored her three grandchildren, Samantha, Emily, and Joshua. A lifelong Catholic, Jean instilled strong values and faith in her children, ensuring that they received a Catholic education. In her free time, Jean loved to read, devouring books of all genres. She also enjoyed traveling, taking cruises with her husband and exploring new destinations with her family. Her home was always filled with warmth, love, and laughter, as she delighted in entertaining family and friends. In addition to her immediate family, Jean is survived by her sisters, Roberta Gillespie of Pittsburgh, PA, and Carol Marterella of Levittown, PA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Irene Rehak; her in-laws, Thomas and Rena Woolman; her daughter-in-law, Donna Woolman and her husband Thomas. The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 12:00pm at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church 999 Reading Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11:00am to 12:00pm at the church. Interment will follow at 1:30pm at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery 830 Highland Road Newtown, PA 18940. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Keyser Healthcare Center, 135 Southern Dr, Keyser, WV 26726, in Jean's memory.
