Mike wasn't my father but her taught me how to fish, shoot an arrow, shoot a gun, he showed me my first country song and he took me to my first concert, he showed me what sunday night football was, I even drank my first beer with him. He wasn't my father but I knew I could always call him and I knew he would always be at all my game, I knew he would always show up no matter what. I know we butted heads sometimes and him and my mom argued sometimes too but he was our Mike. We had our little family it wasn't big but it was ours. He wasn't my father but he was the closest Ive ever had to one and he was the one who stepped up into that role and treated me and my brother like his own. Im at a loss of words and im still in shock but I know everyone is raising one for you and going to live how you would've wanted us too.
Michelle I hope you find peace aswell Mike loved us and we loved him too no matter what happen he was our family and there's nothing anyone can do to take away the memories and the time spent with him.
Jessica and Mia Mike loved you guys so much and im so glad I got to meet you and be part of the family mike is looking down on all of us.
For everyone Live happy all mike ever wanted was for everyone around him to be happy, Live for Mike!

My brother loved with his whole heart — boldly, fiercely, and without apology. He was a protector, someone who showed up when it mattered, even if it was hard. He loved our family deeply, especially our mom and grandmother, and that love shaped everything about him.
The river was his peace. Nature was his refuge. He found beauty in sunrises, in quiet moments, in places most of us overlook. That’s where he felt most free.
He lived fast, felt everything deeply, and gave his all to the people he cared about. His journey wasn’t always easy, but his heart was always in the right place.
I’ll carry him with me always — in the water, in the sky, and in the way I choose to love without holding back.
Rest easy, brother. You are forever a part of me ❤️
