We are so incredibly saddened by the passing of Uncle Jim. He was such a special man, and our family has so many wonderful memories of him, especially from holidays and special occasions. His dry wit and infectious smile always made him pleasant to be around, and he was a true testament to kindness and gentleness. He will be deeply missed. We send our love to Aunt Roberta, Janet, David & Laura & his grandchildren ❤️

Jim was a kind and gentle man who will always be remembered in our hearts. I’m sad to say goodbye but I know he’s resting peacefully in heaven playing golf, building model rail roads and designing houses. My deepest sympathies to his loving wife, Roberta, his children, Janet, David & Laura and to all of his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. ❤️

Rob thank you for your kind words about Jim. You knew him so well. He was all of what you stated and more. Humble and loving he lived each day always with a good heart. I will miss him every day but I'm grateful for all the years we had together. Love, Roberta

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of James Geltch. Jim was the consummate gentleman and professional during his tenure at Burlington City High School. His generosity towards me left a lasting impression. My first year teaching at BCHS was anything but smooth sailing. All of the promised computer technology, software and classroom supplies to get my Commercial Arts curriculum up and running in September of 1999 never materialized before the start of the new school year. I had virtually nothing to use for hands on instruction with my students. Jim, seeing the bind I was in, offered me a plethora of his drafting supplies to equip my classroom with so my students would have something to work with. He checked in with me often during my first year, always offering kind words of encouragement that made me a better teacher. His kindness will never be forgotten. Godspeed.

To Chris Thank you so much for expressing how you felt about my dear husband Jim. He was truly one of a kind.Always ready to help with kindness and generosity. I miss him terribly but I know he's no longer suffering. I appreciated meeting you at the viewing. I know he would have been touched by seeing you and other good friends from BCHS. Thank you, Roberta
