Obituary of Ruth V. Papazian

Ruth Bailey Papazian of Washington Crossing, PA passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 91. Born in Lowell, Massachusetts, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Ruth is survived by her husband of 66 years, George, children Stephanie Achkarian and Gregory Papazian, grandchildren Christina Achkarian Edge, Alexandra Achkarian, Nicholas Achkarian, Daniel Achkarian, Hannah and Kyra Papazian as well as great-granddaughters Elodie and Penelope Edge. Ruth graduated from Wheelock College with a teachers degree and an MA in education from University of Connecticut and spent most of her career as a teacher specializing in early elementary education. Ruth was known for her kindness and dedication to her students. After retirement she continued to enjoy substitute teaching, travelling with her husband George and spending time with her family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at 3:00pm at the Titusville United Methodist Church 7 Church Road Titusville, NJ 08560.
