Annette M. Tyrrell Obituary

Annette Marie Tyrrell

11/07/1948 – 07/25/2025

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Annette Marie Tyrrell, of Levittown, PA, a woman whose warmth, humor, and boundless love touched every life she encountered. Annette left this world peacefully on July 25th, 2025, surrounded by the love of her daughter, Denise, and granddaughter, Alyssa.

Annette is survived by her devoted husband, John Tyrrell Sr.; her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Denise and William Gray, her son and daughter-in-law, John and Serina Tyrrell, her cherished sister, Stephanie Parto; her treasured grandchildren, Alyssa Gray, Joseph Gray, Michael Thibault, Amber Thomas, great-grandson, George Kreimendahl, and “grand-dog”, Knuckles. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends—all of whom were held close to her heart.

Annette was known for her infectious laugh and her ability to bring joy to any room she entered. No matter the circumstances, she could always find a reason to smile and share that light with others. Her playful spirit and genuine kindness left an indelible mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

During the 2000s, before retiring, Annette dedicated her time and talents to the kitchen at Barix Clinic Hospital, where her passion for cooking shone through every meal she prepared. Her love for creating comforting dishes extended far beyond work, as she was always eager to share her homemade soups, chicken recipes, and flavorful sauces with family, friends, and colleagues alike. Her cooking not only nourished those around her but also brought warmth and joy to every table she touched.

She now joins her parents, Grace and Stephen Parto, as well as her beloved dogs, Kaiya, Peaches, Kilo, and Star, and her “grand-doggies,” Capone, Summer, and Xena—all of whom she adored and treated as family.

Annette’s presence will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love and laughter will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. We take comfort in imagining her now, reunited with loved ones, telling stories, sharing her famous laugh, and—true to her fun-loving nature—asking one last time:

“Do you want to see my tattoo?”

The funeral service will be held on Friday, August 1, 2025, at 12:00pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067.  Calling hours will be held from 10:00am to 12:00pm at the funeral home.  Interment will be held privately for the family.
