Katie Dykes, 42, passed away suddenly on July 30, 2025.

She was the loving mother of her two sons, Zachary and Parker Swope.

Katie graduated Magna Cum Laude from La Salle University School of Nursing. She was deeply dedicated to her career and truly loved being a nurse — a role in which her compassion and care touched many lives.

Katie is survived by her mother, Valerie Mortimer, and her father, Frank Dykes, and his wife, Diane Gibbons. She is also survived by her brother, Chris Dykes, his wife Carrie, and their son Finn, as well as her stepsisters, Andrea and Michele Mortimer. She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Frank Mortimer.

Katie's warmth, vibrant spirit, and deep love for her family and friends will never be forgotten.

In honor of Katie's wishes, there will be no funeral service.
