Michael Kotwicki III Obituary
It is with deep sorrow and immense love that we announce the passing of Michael Kotwicki III, age 46, of Yardley, PA, who left us peacefully on Sunday, November 9, 2025.
Raised in Warminster, PA, Mike was a proud graduate of La Salle College High School and went on to earn his bachelor's degree from Villanova University, followed by a master's degree in engineering from Drexel University. His passion for innovation and problem-solving led him to a fulfilling career at Lockheed Martin, where he was deeply dedicated to his work and respected by his colleagues for his intelligence, integrity, and perseverance.
Mike had the honor of becoming an Eagle Scout, a distinction he carried with pride throughout his life, reflecting his values of service, leadership, and dedication. He was also an enthusiastic Philadelphia Eagles fan who never missed a chance to cheer on his team with the same loyalty and optimism he brought to every part of his life.
A man of deep faith and conviction, Mike was a devoted Catholic who found great comfort and purpose in his beliefs. His greatest joy in life, however, was his family. He was a beloved husband and a dedicated father who took pride in his family. He loved nothing more than spending time with them, whether on family vacations to the Poconos, the Jersey Shore, or Disney World, or during evenings spent playing games, sharing laughter, and simply being together.
In 2019, Mike faced a diagnosis of a brain tumor with remarkable strength, faith, and grace, approaching each day with courage and gratitude.
Mike was the high school sweetheart and beloved husband of 19 years to April M. Kotwicki, and loving father of Justin, Grace, and Jonathan. He will be missed by numerous family members and close friends who will cherish his memory.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, November 14, 2025, at 11:30am at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church, 999 Reading Ave, Yardley, PA, 19067. Calling hours for family and friends will be held from 10am to 11:30am at the church. Interment with follow at All Saints Cemetery, 291 Durham Road, Newtown, PA, 18940.
Mass cards would be appreciated, or in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to The National Brain Tumor Society, 55 Chapel Street, Suite 006, Newton, MA, 02458.
Though his time with us was far too short, Michael Kotwicki III's legacy of love, strength, and faith will live on forever in the hearts of those he touched.
Arrangements are under the care of the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. Condolences for the family can be left at www.fitzgeraldsommerfuneralhome.com.
