Mary Ellen Glen, 71, of Perkasie, PA, passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025, after a courageous five-year battle with melanoma.
From an early age, Mary Ellen was an avid learner with a passion for caring for others. She began her career as a Licensed Practical Nurse after graduating from Episcopal Hospital in Philadelphia and later became a Registered Nurse. Over the course of more than 40 years, she dedicated herself to nursing in hospitals, home health care, and case management, touching countless lives with her compassion and professionalism.
Mary Ellen was preceded in death by her parents, John and Margret Clifford; her sister, Peggy; and her beloved daughter, Kathryn Bryn.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Dick; her brother, Thomas Clifford (Rhonda Cates); her daughter, Anne; and her son, Timothy (Meghan), along with his children—Lucas, Bailey, and Nathan. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy and a source of immense pride in her final years.
Mary Ellen’s legacy of love, strength, and service will live on in the hearts with her loved ones.
The funeral mass will be celebrated on Friday, December 5, 2025, at 11:00am at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church 999 Reading Avenue Yardley, PA 19067. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 10:00am to 11:00am at the church. Interment will be in Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery, River Road, Yardley, PA.
