Peter John Mulcahy (66), of Yardley, Pennsylvania, passed away on December 3, 2025, at the University of Pennsylvania Hospital after a long, courageous battle with cancer.

Pete was born in Manhasset, New York, to Daniel and Ann Mulcahy on March 30, 1959. He graduated from Archbishop Molloy High School in 1977, earned his undergraduate degree from SUNY Buffalo, and received a full scholarship to pursue his J.D. at UC San Diego. He worked as General Counsel for Recovery Law Group.

Pete made friends everywhere he went, his optimism, humor, and unmistakable charisma drawing people in instantly. A great athlete with a smile that could light up a room, he loved telling (or attempting to tell) jokes, enjoying a cozy night at home with a good movie, and cheering—often loudly—for the Mets and Jets, though he was recently warming up to the Eagles. He adored reading, music, and anything by Charles Schulz. Even throughout his long illness, he never lost his strength, his wit, or his sense of self. Above all, nothing brought him more joy than time spent with Patty and Kevin.

Pete is survived by his loving wife, Patty, his son, Kevin, his brothers Daniel and Brian, his sister Ann, her husband Thomas, and their daughter Kerry, his aunts Theresa and Agatha, his mother in-law Doris, his sister-in-law, Dianne, her husband Kenny, and her sons, Ryan, Justin, and Cameron, his brother-in-law, Thomas, his wife Jackie, and their children Hannah and Thomas, his brother-in-law Mark and his wife Melissa, and many wonderful cousins and dear friends.

The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, Pennsylvania 19067 with Reverend Daniel R. Mulcahy of St. Brigid & Our Lady of the Assumption Parish officiating.  Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, December 10, 2025, from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home 17 S. Delaware Avenue, Yardley, Pennsylvania 19067.
