Albert F. Rainville, Jr. of Yardley, PA died on Thursday September 28, 2017 at Chandler Hall Hospice in Newtown, PA. He was 83. Born in Woonsocket, RI, son of the late Albert F. and Cora Lagotte Rainville, he resided in Yardley for sixty years. Albert was an independent newspaper distributor. He was Retired from the U.S. Navy (USNR) in 1974. He served on Yardley Borough Council and was a former volunteer and past president of the Yardley Ambulance Squad. In his retirement, he enjoyed working at both the Trenton Thunder and Sun Center Arenas. Albert was a generous, fun loving and dedicated family man who enjoyed his friends, and exploring world cultures. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Ruth Woodroffe Rainville; his daughter and son-in-law, Suzanne and Randall Doliber; his son and daughter-in-law, Michael and Elizabeth Rainville; four grandchildren, Aaron and Patrick Doliber, and Kaitlyn and Allison Rainville, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Interment with Military Honors at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Chandler Hall Hospice or the Make A Wish Foundation.
