Francis Klemm Obituary

Francis "Frank" E. Klemm, 91, of Sarasota, FL died on Wednesday September 27, 2017. Born in Newark, NJ, he was a former resident of New Jersey and Pennsylvania. A Navy veteran of World War II, he served in the South Pacific, from 1944 to 1946 on aircraft carrier SHANGRI-LA, CV-38. Frank went to Florida Southern, Rutgers and Temple colleges and received degrees in chemistry and marketing. He was employed for years by Thiokol and SIKA chemical corporations in New Jersey. He was predeceased by wives Estelle Chuita, Ruth Christian, and a brother, Vincent Klemm, Jr. He leaves a daughter and son-in-law, Janice and Joseph Meyers; a son Jeffrey Klemm; two granddaughters, Elyse and Luisa; daughter-in-law Karen, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 10:30am Saturday October 7th at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA, where friends may call from 9:30am. Burial will follow at St. Ignatius Cemetery, Yardley.
