Henry E. O'Brien of Fairless Hills, PA died on Thursday October 12, 2017 at his home. He was 85. Born in Bristol, PA, son of the late Henry and Mildred O'Brien, he was a long time Fairless Hills resident. Henry spent his entire career in law enforcement, retiring as Detective Sergeant from the Lower Makefield Township Police Department. He especially gifted in creating forensic drawings and a talented photographer. Henry was a passionate Philadelphia sports fan and a generous and supportive booster for his close friends and God children. He is survived by his sister, Mildred (Charles) Andrescacage; special friend, Barbara Wallace; God children, Connie Miller, Barbara Swantko, and Heather Bielawsky, and many special god children. He was predeceased by his special friends, McArthur Wallace, and Tammy Wallace, and two sisters, Jean (Frank) Linck, and Irene (James) Powell. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am Wednesday at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 325 S. Oxford Valley Road, Fairless Hills. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Grace Cemetery, Langhorne, PA. Friends may call from 5pm to 8pm Tuesday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA.
