David John Swider of Yardley, PA died suddenly in West Amwell Township, NJ on Monday January 8, 2018. He was 54. He was raised in Denver, CO, and had lived in Yardley for 10 years. David was a Senior Manager within the Journey to Cloud (J2C) practice at Accenture – one of the largest consulting firms in the world. David enjoyed delivering transformation initiatives for large enterprise clients and was well respected by his peers and clients alike. He was recently part of a large transformation program at a Pharmaceutical client in NJ, where he oversaw a workstream on one of the largest cloud migration projects the company has executed to date. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Aviation Management from Metro State College in Denver, Colorado, and Masters of Science degrees in both computer information technology and database technologies from Regis University in Denver, Colorado. David is survived by his wife, Lisa Hudson Swider and her three children, William, Rebecca, and Regan Stump; his mother, Carol Mitchell and her husband, Ralph Hopfenburg of Denver, CO; his father, John E. Swider and his wife, Joyce Rubolino-Swider of Richboro, PA; his sister, Susan Germaine of Lakewood, CO and her son, Mason and his brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Crystal Swider of Littleton, CO, and their children, Alyssa, Justin and Samantha Swider. Friends and family are invited to gather in his memory at The Yardley Inn, 82 East Afton Avenue, Yardley PA ( 215-493-3800 ) from 4:30 to 7:30 pm on Friday January 19, 2018. Funeral services will be held in Denver at the discretion of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Friends of the Delaware Canal or the Wounded Warrior Project would be appreciated.
