Alexander B. Brown of Washington Crossing, PA passed away on Sunday February 4, 2018 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. He was 71.
Born in Trenton, NJ, son of the late Erwin Brown and the late Carolina Berea Brown, he was a lifelong Washington Crossing resident.
He graduated from Bishop Egan High School in 1964 and attended Villanova University. He was an expediter with Transamerica DeLaval Turbine, Inc. in Trenton, NJ. Alex served in the Air Force Active Reserves in Willow Grove, PA from 1966 to 1972.
He was the brother of the late Elizabeth Ann Brown, and is survived by his brother, John E. Brown of Whitmore Lake, MI; three sisters, Susan Penrose of Newtown, PA, Mary Louise Sutherland of Keuka Park, NY, and Carolina S. Keating of Annandale, VA, and many nieces, nephews, grandnephews and grandnieces.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 on Saturday, February 17th at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions to the Veterans charity, Code of Support (www.codeofsupport.org), or to a charity of your choice, in memory of Alexander B. Brown.
