Geraldine Niedermeyer of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Wednesday February 21, 2018 at her home. She was 74. Born in Flushing, NY, a daughter of the late Francis and Blanche Fisher Egan, she resided in Lower Makefield for the past ten years. Geraldine was graduated from Fordham University. She was Chief Financial Officer of The Single Parent Resource Center, Inc., a not-for-profit organization, in New York City until her retirement. Geraldine was an active member of St. John the Evangelist Parish and an avid reader. Wife of the late John M. Niedermeyer, she is survived by her daughter, Joanne Cox of Lower Makefield; two brothers, Frank Egan and his wife, Suzanne of Glastonbury, CT, and Richard Egan (the late Linda) of Lawrenceville, GA; her sister, Maureen Nagle and her husband, Peter of Farmingdale, NY; three grandchildren, Amber, Jaclyn, and Kyle Cox, and two great grandchildren, Nevaeh and Dez Cox. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30am Wednesday February 28th at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA. Burial will follow at 11:30am at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Newtown, PA. Friends may call from 6pm to 8pm Tuesday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA.
