Emily Kate Wilkening of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Tuesday April 10, 2018 at Aria Jefferson Hospital in Langhorne, PA. She was 22.
Born in St. Petersburg, Russia, she has been a life long Yardley-Makefield resident.
Emily was a graduate of Notre Dame High School in Lawrenceville, NJ. She was a devoted animal lover and had worked as a dog handler with Four Paws in Morrisville, and was an avid motorcycle enthusiast.
She is survived by her parents, David A. and Kathleen (Lies) Wilkening, and her brother, Emmet Z. Wilkening, all of Lower Makefield.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am Friday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville, PA. Friends may call from 9am to 10:15 am Friday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA.
