Susan E. Manning of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Sunday June 3, 2018 at the VNA of Philadelphia Hospice. She was 60. Born in Trenton, daughter of Louisa Dorsey Childs and the late Robert Seward, formerly of Morrisville, PA, she resided in Lower Makefield for the past 15 years. A graduate of Bucks County Community College, Susan had been an administrative assistant with Church & Dwight in Ewing, NJ. She served as a deacon at the Morrisville Presbyterian Church and was an active volunteer at its Food Center. She was a volunteer at the Philadelphia Flower Show. She is survived by her husband, Timothy J. Manning; her daughter, Alissa Jo Manning; her mother and her husband, Louisa and Harold Childs of Palm Coast, FL; a brother, Robert A. Seward of Morrisville, PA; three sisters, Barbara J. Torpey of Pipersville, PA, Lynn L. Becker-Torbik of Clementon, NJ and Dawn Lynn of Roper, NC. Susan is also survived by many good friends. Especially loved were her extended family " The Porch Club ". Susan's family will receive condolences from 9:30am until 11am followed by her service on Thursday June 7th at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. Flowers are welcomed or memorial contributions to Meals On Wheels.
