Marian Piscopo, 94, of Morrisville, PA passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday December 11, 2016 at ManorCare of Yardley.
Born in Trenton, NJ, daughter of the late William Woodward, Sr. and Mary Kessler Woodward, she was a lifelong Morrisville resident.
Marian known to family and friends as "Aunt Marian" was a homemaker and worked in her family's business Piscopo Brothers Auto Body in Morrisville as an assistant bookkeeper. During World War II, she worked at Fleetwings Aircraft in Bristol, PA.
Wife of the late Nicholas Piscopo, sister of the late William Woodward, Jr., Emma Clawges and Mary "May" Bintliff, and mother-in-law of the late Kathy Piscopo, she is survived by her son, Robert J. Piscopo of Yardley, PA; her grandson and his wife, Brett and Rachel Piscopo of Morrisville, PA; a great grandson, Nicholas; many nieces, nephews, and cousins, and grand dog, Beau.
Family and friends are invited to call from 9:30am to 11:30am Thursday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley. Words of Remembrance will be at 11:30am. Burial will follow at Morrisville Cemetery, Morrisville, PA.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Morrisville United Methodist Church or the Bucks County SPCA.
