Christopher A. Behounek of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Sunday July 15, 2018 at his home. He was 28. Born in Cumberland, MD, a son of Bruce D. and Diane Gracie Behounek, he was a life long Lower Makefield resident. Christopher was a Financial Analyst with Prudential in Dresher, PA. He graduated from St. Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia, where he played football and lacrosse. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Finance at the University of Delaware, where he was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity. He was a passionate golfer, snowboarder, surfer, and avid Philadelphia sports fan. He is survived by his parents, Bruce D. Behounek and Diane Gracie Behounek; his brother and sister-in-law, Matthew and Danielle Behounek of Monroe Township, NJ; a nephew, Mason Behounek; maternal grandmother, Jean Gracie of Cumberland, MD; aunts and uncles, Linda and Rick Merrill, Brett and JoAnn Behounek, and Brian and Barb Behounek. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am Friday July 20 at St. Ignatius Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, PA. Burial will follow at All Saints Cemetery in Newtown, PA. Friends may call from 4pm to 8pm Thursday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
