Karen L. Boyd of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Friday November 25, 2016 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. She was 55.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, she had been a Lower Makefield resident for the past 16 years.
Karen was a chef and co-owner of the Black Truffle Bistro in Wilmington, DE. She was graduated from Lehigh University and the Culinary Institute of America.
She is survived by her parents, Robert W. Boyd and Barbara A. Spaeth Boyd; three brothers and a sister-in-law, Robert W. and Kathleen Boyd of the Township of Washington, NJ, Jeffrey S. Boyd of Yardley, PA, and Gregory S. Boyd of Redwood City, CA, and two nephews and three nieces, Ryan W. (Lauren) Boyd, Jennifer Boyd, Megan (Euler) Celi, Stephen Boyd and Chelsea Boyd.
A Memorial Service will held at future date.
