Jean Melton Sheridan of Lower Makefield Township died on Monday November 26, 2018 at ManorCare. She was 91. Born in Trenton, NJ, daughter of the late Herbert and Grace Curran Melton, she had been a lifelong Yardley-Makefield resident. Jean was a crossing guard for 20 years with the Pennsbury School District and a member of St. Ignatius Parish. She is survived by her husband of 70 years, James J. Sheridan, and her daughter and son-in-law, Nancy E. and Karl Hagemann of Washington Crossing, PA. Jean was the mother and mother-in-law of the late Victoria and Robert Paul. A private family graveside service was held at St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
