Charles T. Dickert, passed away peacefully on Januray 9, 2017 at the age of 91. Charles was the beloved husband of the late Mary Doidge Dickert for 23 years and the late Janice Bielitsky Dickert for 19 years. Born in New Cumberland, PA, he was the son of the late Charles and Clare (Schneider) Dickert. He is survived by his brother James Dickert, his loving children Chuck Dickert (Pat), Richard Dickert (Sherri), son-in-law Joseph Neary, Karen Glaeser, Cheryl Cler (Jeff), Mindy Wanchisen (Steve) and Jill Baker (Jim), 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. In addition to his wives, Mary Dickert and Janice Dickert, he was preceded in death by his daughter Marian Neary and his siblings Joseph Dickert, Peg Downing, Clare Monahan, Joan Friedman and Carol Horcher. Charles earned his Undergraduate and Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering at Lehigh University. He spent this entire career with Rohm and Haas in Philadelphia. During retirement he enjoyed traveling, playing golf and listening to jazz music. Funeral Services will be at 11 A.M. Fri. at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Yardley, PA. Burial in church cemetery. Friends may call from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. Thurs. at FITZGERALD-SOMMER FUNERAL HOME, 17 S. Delaware Ave., Yardley, PA. Memorial contributions to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 47 W. Afton Ave., Yardley, PA 19067.
