Obituary of John R. Hipple

Please share a memory of John to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
John "Johnny" Hipple 1978-2020 John Raymond Hipple, "Johnny," 41, eternal partner of Kristy and beloved father of Micah and Aidan, died unexpectedly of natural causes at his home in Surf City, NJ, on February 22, 2020. Born on September 3, 1978, in Trenton, NJ, Johnny was the oldest son of Susan Palsho Hipple and John Raymond Hipple and Sherpa to siblings Kate and Jason. Growing up in Washington Crossing, PA, and still today, Johnny is their North Star. Johnny graduated from Notre Dame High School where he was a standout ice hockey player and memorialized as the most unique person by peers who voted him "Most Likely to Be Out Of Uniform." He went on to study at Green Mountain University, which ultimately led to his most important accomplishment, his son, Micah. Johnny's chosen profession was barkeep. With his laid-back ways and love of people, Johnny was born for the role, which drew on skills he honed tracing the exact footpath his grandfather had for many decades before at Ernie's Tavern. He would often say that all he did for a living was spill liquor, but the warm comfort and spirited hospitality Johnny brought to his patrons was a transcendental experience. He was fortunate enough to settle in his favorite place in the world, by the Barnegat Bay, where he spent time with his family, the waves and his thoughts. Johnny was an avant-garde musician and a natural comedian who carried peace and kindness everywhere he went. Johnny was the coolest, the humblest, deeply spiritual and a fiercely loyal father, friend and teacher. But more than anything, Johnny's super power was his sweet, sensitive soul, which indelibly touched his family, friends, and every dog he ever met. Johnny was caring and kind to all; when he talked to you, he folded you into his big heart and you felt like you were truly special … while all along it was Johnny who was most special of all. Johnny, with his beautiful eyes and endless smile, will be forever missed by all who knew him. Johnny was predeceased by his grandparents James and Ella Hipple and Ernest and Catherine Palsho. Along with his parents, partner Kristy Neall, and sons Micah Laborde Hipple and Aidan Neall, Johnny is survived by family members including Sandy Davall, Barry Davall, Jeff Davall, Karin Warner, Sue Davall, Tim Warner, Katherine Warner, Jack Warner, Ava Warner, Hank Davall, Faye Davall, Benjamin Davall, Chuck Palsho, Allison Palsho, Charlie Palsho, Hayley Palsho, JoAnn Hathazi, Mike Hatazi, Mikey Hathazi, Lauren Hathazi, Genevieve Panzica, Dodi Mahnovksi, Sergej Mahnovski, Adrian Mahnovski, Sebastian Mahnovski, Cathy Lubby, David Lubbe, Morgan Lubbe, Jules Lubbe, Herb McGee, Crissy McGee, Kelly McGee, Erin McGee, Carrie McGee, Christopher McGee, Elizabeth McGee, Annie Marks, Tracy Markham, Evelyn Moonan, Emily McGee, Bill McGee, Billy McGee, Cheri Hipple, Robin Rutter, Krissy Haesler Ellis, BonBon Haesler, Jana Haesler Keller, Bill Hipple, Marilynn Hipple, Hal Pitkow, Susan Hipple, Becky Pitkow, Mike Harris, Erica Pitkow, Ben Pitkow, Henry Hipple, Judy Hipple, Henry Hipple Jr., Tommy Hipple, Danielle Galasso, Sophie Galasso, Emma Galasso, Owen Galasso, Corboy, JR, Jimmy Evans, Malabee, and Tank. Services and visitation will be held Saturday, February 29, 2020, 12pm-4pm, at FitzGerald-Sommer, 17 S. Delaware Avenue, Yardley, Pa, and Johnny welcomes all to celebrate life at his home in Washington Crossing immediately after. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, Surfrider Foundation (surfrider.org), and the Human Fund Organization. The planet does not need more successful people. The planet desperately needs more peacemakers, healers, restorers, storytellers, and lovers of all kinds. -Dalai Lama LOVE AND HAPPINESS ALWAYS 333 ###
