Anna Rose (Baccaro) Walton of Tarpon Springs, Florida passed away on April 4th, 2020. Rose was born on December 28th, 1930 in Newark, New Jersey to Michael and Rose (Martino) Baccaro. She grew up in Newark where she met the love of her life, Roy G. Walton. They got married on February 4th, 1951 and went on to live a beautiful life and raise an amazing family. She was predeceased by her husband of 65 years, Roy G. Walton, her sister, Joan DeCarlo, and nephew, John DeCarlo. Rose is survived by her children, Nancy Kalmin of Tarpon Springs, FL, Michael Walton and wife Kathy of Yardley, PA, and Roy V. Walton and wife Cathy of Avon, CT, her grandchildren, Kevin Kalmin and wife Noena, Edward Kalmin, Matthew Harton and husband David, Erin Snarponis, Christopher Walton and wife Chloë, Taylor Walton, Roy D. Walton, and Noah Walton, several nieces and nephews, including, James DeCarlo, Joanne Hallsten and husband Kent, and Michael DeCarlo and wife Joy, great nieces and nephews, John DeCarlo, Ian DeCarlo, Tim DeCarlo, Tony Hallsten, Kaitlyn Hallsten, Ken DeCarlo, David DeCarlo, and Nick DeCarlo, along with 7 great grandchildren, Ethan Kalmin, Isabella Kalmin, Elisabeth Kalmin, Jillian Kalmin, Scott Kalmin, Colter Snarponis, and Pierson Walton, the Lagola family, the Haynes family, 5 sisters-in-law and their families. Rose raised her family in Rahway, NJ, and later, Bristol, CT before retiring with her husband to Tarpon Springs, FL. Every summer was spent in South Seaside Park, NJ. It became a place for the family to gather and enjoy one another's company, with Rose and Roy at the center of it all. It's a tradition and place her family will carry on and continue to enjoy for generations to come. The most important thing in life to Rose was her family. She loved to bring them together by cooking up a storm. Her taylor ham breakfast sandwiches and Italian hot dogs were a summer staple that everyone looked forward to! She never forgot a birthday, taught us to believe in things we couldn't see, always supported us in life's ventures (no matter how crazy she might have thought you were), and worried enough for the both of you. Rose was always making us laugh and never failed to put a smile on our faces. She was truly larger than life and the toughest little Italian. She will be missed by all that knew her, but we are at peace knowing she is finally reunited with her family and husband. A private family memorial will be held this summer to remember Rose. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Cancer Research Institute in Rose's name.
