Susan Frances Prager of Lower Makefield Township, PA passed away Sunday January 22, 2017 while vacationing with her husband in New Zealand. She was 59.
Born in New York, NY, a daughter of the late Edwin and Frances Dorchak, formerly of Hamden, CT, Horsham, PA, and Medford, NJ, Susan had resided in Lower Makefield for the past 29 years.
Susan was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She graduated from Lehman College in New York with a BS RN.
Susan loved adventure, traveling, and her book clubs. She was a member of St. Ignatius Parish where she sang in the Folk Group. She was an accomplished tennis player and member of the USTA.
Susan is survived by her husband, Dr. Roy Prager; her son Jason Prager, his wife Kathryn Prager and their children Jackson, Quinten, and Nora of Westfield, NJ; her son Ryan Prager, his wife Rebecca and their daughter Ashlyn of Yardley, PA; her daughter Elyssa Falkner and her husband Tom of Miami, FL; her brother Edwin Dorchak and his wife Brenda of Rehoboth Beach, DE; her brother Frederick Dorchak and his wife Susan of Westbury, NY; her sister Karen Tamucci and her husband Jim of Rye, NY; her mother in law, Mary Prager of Boynton Beach, FL, and her golden retriever, Plato.
Friends and family are invited to her visitations from 5pm to 8pm on Thursday February 2, 2017 and Friday February 3, 2017 at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA. Funeral viewing will begin on Saturday February 4, 2017 from 9am to 10:15am at St. Ignatius of Antioch in Yardley, PA; her Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30am. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
