Obituary of Kenneth O. Birkhead

Kenneth O. Birkhead Kenneth O. Birkhead of Ewing Township, NJ died on Thursday May 28, 2020 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton, NJ. A lifelong Ewing resident, Ken served in the US Navy after graduating from high School. He applied and was accepted as member of the Ewing Township Police Department when he was discharged from the Navy. Ken retired from the Police Department with a distinguished record. He was a member of the Police Benevolent Association. In retirement, he worked in the construction industry and was a loyal member of the Incarnation Church. Ken was the son of the late LeRoy and Anna Businger Birkhead, and father of the late Kenny Birkhead, Jr. and the late Kathy Piscopo. He is survived by his wife, Helen Krol Birkhead; his grandson Brett Piscopo and his wife, Rachel, and two great grandchildren, Nicholas and Kathryn Piscopo. Funeral services with burial in Holy Cross Cemetery in Hamilton Twp., NJ will be private.
