I only met Mr. Archibald a couple of times. At his sons home Arch and Jane. He owned the room when he was there in my opinion. He told me a few stories of life and always mentioned his children and grand children. He always welcomed me to stay longer and enjoy myself. It was always nice to see him. His children loved him back as well.
I say they were all lucky to have each other. Prayers for family and friends. Chris Flanagan

My deepest condolences to Arch's family; Marian, Red, Susan, Kristin & the grandchildren. Thank you for sharing Arch with all of us.
The words are tough to write at this time, but the memories of Arch will remain vivid in my mind. Over the course of more than 30 years, Arch was many things to me; a customer, my boss, a co-worker, but most of all, my best friend. A man you couldn't say no to, and a man that would never say no to a friend.
I will be forever grateful for lessons taught, the things he made me figure out for myself, the many, many laughs, the comfort shared during some rough times, and of course, the friendship we always enjoyed. God bless you Arch.

Arch, played b-ball at Edgewood for about 10 years. He was very charismatic and always had a humorous side to him. He was a good player especially on defense, so I nick-named him “the Glove”. He was extremely popular and loved by all. I loved this guy and it was my privilege to know and lace ‘em up with him. RIP Arch. Jack Olsen (Edgewood Commissioner).

I gotta admit I’m taking this very hard. Arch was a client of mine for about 14yrs. But more importantly, he became family soon after we met!! I began training Arch at the age of 60. But I quickly realized he was training me. He was giving us all life lessons on how to be a good person. Arch was truly one of my best achievements as a trainer. But I choose to remember him as my mentor & friend! “Fine Wine” is what we called him.. you will be missed.. (keep doing those lunges in paradise )
