Donald R., (age 72), of Yardley, PA on January 29, 2017. Beloved husband of his late wife Elizabeth M.; son of the late George W. and the late Marie E. Hertkorn; father of Debra Jean (Scott) Martin, Timothy (Michelle) and Michael (Rachel); brother of Laraine (Jack), the late Gerald (Carol Jean), the late Buddy; friend of Anne McMullin, Mary Sager, John Hutchings; grandfather of Sean, Bryan, Emily, Ashley, Amanda, Kaylee and the late Isabella Martin, Kaya and Madison Hertkorn, Michael Jr. and Morgan Hertkorn. After graduating from Penn State with a degree in Engineering, he served as an officer in the Army. While graduating from Drexel University with an MBA, Don re-joined Mobil for 30 plus years before starting a consulting practice. Don and his wife Betty were involved in Marriage Preparation programs, Eucharistic Ministers, and parish Variety Shows while Don was also a charter member of the St. John the Evangelist Knights of Columbus and a member of the Finance Council. Don was involved with the parish Men's Faith Sharing Group, and he was eventually known as "Mr. Malvern" since he typically took 20-40 men to the annual retreat at Malvern. Through all these activities, Don's family always came first.
