Coleen Marie Gallagher Marciante One of the bright lights of humanity and compassion in the world went out in the early morning of October 7, 2020.
With deep sorrow and regret we announce the passing of Coleen Marie Gallagher Marciante. Born and raised in Philadelphia and Buckingham, PA, Coleen graduated from Central Bucks East High School in 1979. She attended Widener University and worked as a Title Curator at KML Law Firm in Philadelphia. She married the love of her life, Michael Marciante in 1986 and raised two wonderful, loving children: Michael-Thomas and Alison Anna. She vividly enjoyed life with her family and friends, having read countless paperback and hardbound novels, many of which were read on the shores of New Jersey and Ocean City, Maryland. She was an avid fan of many musical talents of her time, including Cher, Van Morrison, Bon Jovi, and of course the Boss. She took her children to their first concert to see John Eddie at an outdoor venue in Atlantic City in 2002. She loved to sing and dance and lived to see her children happy. She fought small cell lung cancer with chemotherapy and radiation with the help of the incredible doctors, nurses and staff at Penn Medicine. She rang the bell in the Fall of 2018.
Coleen was predeceased by her beloved mother Elizabeth Murphy, father-in-law Charles H Marciante and her musically talented nephew Michael James Doolan.
