Obituary of Roman Fedorak

Roman Fedorak of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Friday February 24, 2017 at the Hospital of the Unversity of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. He was 83.
Born in the Ukraine, he had been a Lower Makefield resident for the past 55 years.
Roman was an electrical engineer, retiring after 32 years at the Naval Air Warfare Center in Warminster, PA. He was graduated from Lafayette College, and received Masters degrees from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the Pennsylvania State University. He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War.
He was a teacher's aide for many years with the SAGE program, taught CCD at St. John the Evangelist Parish. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and was professed in the Third Order Society of St.. Francis.
Son of the late Dmytro and Kateryna Fedorak, and father of the late Mary Marcopolus, he is survived by his wife of 56 years, Eleanor F. Fedorak; his son and daughter-in-law, Roman and Donna Fedorak of Langhorne, PA; son-in-law, Odysseus Marcopolus of Newtown, PA; and four grandchildren, Amanda and Elizabeth Fedorak, and Anastasia and Alexander Marcopolus.
Requiem Liturgy will be at 11am Friday at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 2026 Bath Road, Bristol, PA, where friends may call from 10am. Burial will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery, Langhorne, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Roberts Proton Therapy Center, Penn Medicine Development Office, 3535 Market Street, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
