Margaret Sheila Valyocsik Margaret Sheila Valyocsik of Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at her home. She was 82. Born in Toronto, Canada, daughter of the late John Geddes and Mae Groves Geddes, she resided in Lower Makefield for the past 44 years. A graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Business from Trenton State College (now The College of New Jersey), Sheila completed her working career as a legal secretary in the Judiciary Division of the State of New Jersey. She and her husband, Ernest, were devoted to family life and the activities and friends of their two sons. It was a bonus when the grandchildren came along. Sheila always found time to read and enjoyed this pastime throughout her life. Sheila is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ernest W. Valyocsik; two sons and daughters-in-law, Sander and Amanda Valyocsik, and Eric and Tami Valyocsik, and four grandchildren, Kayla, Kieran, Frederick, and Alistair. Funeral services will be held at 11am Tuesday at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA, where friends may call from 10am. Burial will follow at the Newtown Cemetery, Newtown, PA.
