Bon voyage Ed Mailey! To one of the best writers at Laurel Lake. A delightful dry sense of humor. Henry Menapace

It's difficult to express how much I loved Ed. He was one special man. I learned the real meaning of love seeing him with Annie. He always put her first, in everything. I cared for Annie, my little flower, for 13 years. Ed would say "So I guess I'm big flower?" Indeed he was. He loved going to Cosco. Everytime he came home he would have a car load full of stuff, suitcase size packages of spinach! Flower and I would get pretty tickled. Once when the kids were coming to visit, he had purchased a gallon size jar of peanut butter. It lasted quit a while!! His favorite was the 24 long stem roses he'd get for Annie. She loved her flowers.
After flower went to heaven, I stayed working for Ed. After he moved to Ohio, we stayed in touch on a regular basis. I miss talking to him and I will never forget him. He was like a dad to me. He taught me so much about Bill W. as well.
I know Eduardito is dancing and playing golf with Flower now. I am happy they are together again.
I will never, ever forget you, Eduardito. I will see you again. I love you.
