Adele Virginia Gibilisco, "Nan," passed away peacefully on March 22nd, 2017, in Yardley, Pennsylvania, with her loving family by her side. She was 86. Born on April 6th, 1930, she spent her childhood in Newark, NJ. Adele worked for Bell Telephone, private companies as a draftsman, and retired after working for township of Verona for several years. She raised her family in Verona, NJ, with her husband of 49 years, Angelo. Adele loved spending time at her family beach house in Long Beach Island, where she frequently hosted family and close friends and enjoyed cocktails while watching the sun set over the bay. With a passion and skill for cooking, she especially adored preparing spaghetti dinners on Sundays and the seven fishes feast on Christmas Eve. Adele is survived by her two daughters, Paula Gibilisco and Robbin DeMuth, son-in-law Michael DeMuth, grandchildren, Michele, Ryan, and Jenna DeMuth ,and Tim (Dana) Arthur; her companion of ten years, Frank Witherow, and beloved dog Zoie. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Angelo, her brothers Orestes and Charles, and her parents Lena and Omero. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral Mass in her honor at 10:30am, Saturday, March 25th at St. Ignatius of Antioch in Yardley, PA, where friends may call from 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation at www.alz.org/donate?, a local ASPCA or dog rescue organization.
