William H. Donnell



William H. Donnell, 69, of Upper Makefield Township, PA died on Wednesday February 9, 2022 at his home.

Born in Trenton, NJ, a son of the late John J. and Alice Dillon Donnell, he has been a lifelong Bucks County resident.

Bill was a graduate of Bishop Egan HS and attended Bucks County Community College. When he finished his studies, he had a 26 year career with OverniteTransportation which later became UPS Freight handling increasing volumes of outbound LTL freight. Bill took great care and devotion in raising his family and all its activities. He also made sure he had time for his hobby as an antique car enthusiast.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Ellen Smith Donnell; his son, Bill Donnell of Upper Makefield; his daughter, Allison Donnell of Hamilton, NJ; brother, Dennis Donnell of Medford, CA; sister, Margaret Amico, and two grandchildren, Kaci and Jaxon.

Friends are invited to call on Monday from 4pm to 7pm at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA with a prayer service at 7pm.
