Thomas C. Cavalier of Lower Makefield Township died peacefully in the presence of his family on Thursday April 6, 2017 at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. Born in Hartford, CT, the son of the late Nicholas Cavalier and Mary Mazur Cavalier, and formerly of West Hartford, CT, he resided in Lower Makefield for the past 26 years. Tom was a chemist, and was graduated from the University of Connecticut and received his Masters from the University of Arkansas. He was a Science Leader at GlaxoSmithKline in Philadelphia, PA. Tom is survived by his wife, Jeanne and his son, Anthony; a sister, Susan Hunter of Midlothian, VA and a brother, Kevin Cavalier of West Hartford, CT. He was the brother of the late Dr. Neil Cavalier. An avid sports fan, he saw his beloved Patriots win the Super Bowl in February and enjoyed one last March Madness. A memorial service will be held at 12:30pm Friday April 14th at the FitzGerald-Sommer Funeral Home, 17 S. Delaware Avenue (River Road), Yardley, PA, where friends may call from 11:30am.
