Obituary of Sonya J. Villari

Sonya J. Villari Sonya J. Villari, 70, of Yardley, Lower Makefield Township, PA died on Wednesday June 1, 2022, at St. Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, PA. Born in Ashland, PA, daughter of the late John and Henrietta (Komarnitski) Rutkowski. She formerly resided in Twin Oaks, Levittown, PA. and lived in Lower Makefield for the past 22 years. Sonya was a graduate of Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania and taught elementary grades and Special Education in the Bristol Township School District until her retirement. She was admired by her students and respected by her colleagues for her outgoing, steady demeanor. Sonya was proud of her home and enjoyed searching for just the right antiques to fit in with its décor. She always dealt with people in a friendly and sociable manner. She is survived by her husband, Nicholas R. Villari; a brother, John Rutkowski, and an aunt, Barbara Rutkowski. Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday June 21, 2022, at the St. Ignatius Church, 999 Reading Avenue, Yardley, PA, where friends may call from 10am.
