Robert E. Foster of Morrisville, PA died on Sunday November 6, 2022 at his home.
Born in Trenton, NJ, son of the late Everett and Julie Comisky Foster. His mother died early in his life and he was raised by his father and stepmother Edna Drenguba Foster. He was a lifelong Morrisville resident.
Bob was a graduate of Morrisville High School and joined the US Army during the Korean War where he served with distinction. Amongst his many awards were two Bronze Stars. Upon Bob's Honorable Discharge from the Army, he began a lifelong career at Delaval in Trenton. Bob was an enthusiast of stock car racing from the early days of the Langhorne Speedway right through the modern NASCAR races at the Pocono Raceway. He also was a lifetime member of the Levittown American Legion Post 960 and longtime member of the Penn Warner Club. He enjoyed spending time there with friends more than anything and frequently took his motor home to the lake or to the mountains.
He was the brother of the late Evelyn Foster Kehoe, Everett Foster, and Gail Foster Binner. Bob is survived by his brother-in-law, Roger Kehoe, and eight nieces and nephews.
Graveside services and burial with Full Military Honors will be on Thursday November 17, 2022 at 10:30am at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery,
